Texas License to carry
Obtaining your Texas License To Carry License requires the passing of a Texas DPS License To Carry Course. Passing this course does not guarantee the student will be awarded their LTC, it is only one step in the process. All fees are non-refundable.
The application with the DPS can be made at any point. No documentation is required from them to attend the course. The Texas DPS also requires fingerprints for a background check. This will be scheduled when you make application with the Texas DPS and pay the application fee. Click HERE to go to the Texas DPS applications page.
